News! The 2012 Gun Raffle Winners The 2012 Punxsutawney Groundhog "Youth Classic" and "Novice" Tournaments held on January 28th and 29th were both a huge success once again this year. The complete results for both tournaments can be viewed by going to the Youth Tournament Results page. Congratulations to Seth Spack on varsity career win #100 at Redbank Valley on January 17, 2012! Congratulations to Neko Cappella on varsity career win #100 on December 29, 2011 in Wheeling, WV! ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to upcoming Jr. High and Varsity wrestling matches, the practice schedules for elementary wrestling will change. Please click here to view the updated practice schedules. Weight Classes Change for High School 2011-12 Season (From the National Wrestling Coaches Association Website) The most significant changes in weight classes in high school wrestling in 23 years will take place in the 2011-12 season. In its April 4-6 meeting in Indianapolis, the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Wrestling Rules Committee approved an upward shift of the weight classes, beginning with the 103-pound class moving to 106 pounds, which resulted in new weights for 10 of the 14 classes.
